About The Pearl Mother

My name is Bonnie and I have been creating art my entire life. I am the mother of two boys, I have had many careers and come from a family of artists. I started creating jewelry because I had enough of paying a high price for jewelry that turned by skin green and tarnished. I knew I had the resources, material and skills to make products that were unique and worth their cost. In fact, my costs are lower than the pieces I was purchasing that didn't hold up to the quality I expected. 

I buy domestic materials, support etsy artists and small businesses. I create my larger charms using CAD software and then outsource the casting, I hope to begin casting my own metals eventually.

A portion of proceeds are donated to a number of charities that support a clean ocean. Because part of creating something new is also taking care of what we love!

My jewelry is hypoallergenic, made with real materials, by hand and is meant to be worn, get wet and sweaty. Im inspired by the ocean where I am the most at peace. I hope my jewelry brings you the peace and joy it brings me as well.
